What the Trailer
Needs to Run
A clear, honest guide to power requirements, water setup, and what to expect — so there are no surprises on the day of your event.
What Power Does
the Trailer Need?
The trailer requires a dedicated 20-amp electrical connection. Your three options are shown below — choose what fits your site.
A dedicated 20-amp outlet within cord reach of the placement area. Look for the T-shaped notch on the left slot — the distinguishing feature of a 20-amp receptacle. Common in kitchens, garages, laundry rooms, and newer construction. No additional equipment needed.
No outlet available? Add our generator rental to your quote. We supply, deliver, and operate the generator — you don't need to do anything. Most outdoor event clients choose this option. It's the simplest, safest choice when outlet access isn't confirmed.
A standard 15-amp outlet (two identical vertical slots + round ground) can be used with our step-down adapter at the client's own discretion. We've not experienced issues with this setup. However, this option is at the client's own risk, and we recommend confirming the circuit is dedicated and not shared with other appliances.
Not sure what you have? That's completely fine — just mention it in your quote request. We'll advise on the best solution for your specific site setup. Or simply request the generator option and skip the question entirely.
15-Amp vs. 20-Amp:
The Visual Difference
No Water Hookup
Required
The trailer is entirely self-contained. We arrive with a pre-filled fresh water holding tank — no connection to your home or venue plumbing is needed.
Fresh Water Tank
We bring the trailer with the fresh water tank pre-filled. Guests use the stainless steel sinks with real running water throughout your event.
Waste Holding Tank
Waste collects in a sealed on-board holding tank. We pump it after your event — nothing is required from you or your venue.
Long-Term Servicing
For long-term placements, water refill and waste removal are scheduled as part of your service agreement — matched to usage volume.
